🌿 From the Heart: My Podcast Chat on Sustainable Living and The Roots of The Hippie Farmer
Share

Hey friends,
I recently had the honor of sitting down for a conversation on Rooted Podcast, and I wanted to take a moment to share the experience with you here—because so much of what I talked about is at the heart of The Hippie Farmer and everything we’re building together.
🎙️ From Burnout to Back to the Earth
I opened up about my journey from the hustle and burnout of corporate life to this wildly rewarding (and sometimes messy!) life I’ve created on the farm. Choosing a slower, earth-conscious path wasn’t always easy, but it was absolutely necessary for my soul—and I know so many of you feel the same pull.
We talked about what it means to farm with intention, using regenerative practices that don’t just take from the land, but give back. That’s the foundation of everything I do here—farming naturally, crafting small-batch wellness products, and living in tune with the natural cycles around us.
🌱 Lessons I’ve Learned Along the Way
In the podcast, I shared a few core truths that continue to guide me:
- You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I surely didn’t. I just knew I needed to live differently—and I let that be enough.
- Living holistically isn’t about being perfect. It’s about intention, connection, and paying attention to what your body, your spirit, and the Earth are asking for.
- Community is everything. Whether it's neighbors who trade eggs for tinctures, or beautiful humans like you supporting this journey online—community fuels the soul.
💚 Why This Matters
Being on the podcast reminded me how powerful it is to share stories—not just products. The Hippie Farmer isn’t just about what’s in the jar or bottle, it’s about living close to the land, honoring your intuition, and making choices that nourish you and the planet.
My hope is that by listening to this episode, you’ll feel a little more inspired to grow your own herbs, simplify your skincare routine, or just slow down and take a few deep breaths in nature. You’re not alone on this path.
